Essential Requirements:

• Licensed healthcare professional with valid insurance

• RFU PHICIS Level 2 certification (or commitment to achieve before September 2025)

• Strong understanding of rugby/contact sport and its physical demands

• Preferred experience (personally or professionally) in competitive sport

• Availability for weekend pitch side coverage

Responsibilities

• Reports to Head of Medical

• Will be required to work 1-2 evenings per week and some weekends during the season (July-April) where applicable

• Appropriately treat and/or rehabilitate injured players

• Work closely with Head of Medical, Medical Team members, Coaches and other support staff to ensure return to fitness of injured players

• Player screening and education

• Maintain comprehensive and up to date medical records

• Regular stocks, supplies, and equipment checks for training nights, home and away matches
