Following the success of the 2022 on-line event, Kevin has been working hard behind the scenes for the last 6 months and prepared an exceptional programme for the face-to-face FMPA 2023 Conference.
Kevin has 20+ years of full-time employment in a variety of elite sports organisations that has enabled him to explore the use of a numerous training and testing methods and come up with a simple yet successful formula of classification of training drills and coaching skills.
He has experience in athletics, cycling, basketball, cricket and soccer but also a keen passion for net racquet sports and swimming and has also worked as a key developer of multi-disciplinary team practitioners in all sports and governing bodies he has been employed in.
Kevin plans to continue aiming to work to a structured level of sensible and productive training whilst always seeking out fresh initiatives and innovations to enhance my programming.
Specialties:
Dealing with a variety of athlete profiles in a very specific and individual manner whilst delivering to multiple squads.
Selecting the most appropriate and specific form of training methods at the stage of season and across multiple annual cycles.
Categorising the correct progression and regression of training drills and loadings for specific phases of LTAD and maturation status.
Data collection, organisation and presentation that is attractive and identifiable to athlete through GPS, strength and power diagnostics of force velocity curve.
Implementing and managing internship schemes with high levels of coach education with a variety of presentation and resources both in person and digitally.
